Topic: Behaviour and Personality
This talk explains how the 'old' parts of our brain drive basic behaviour and emotions such as hunger, thirst, happiness, sadness and sex. It also explains how the 'new' parts of our brain can modify these basic drives and give us intelligence and personality.
Guest Speaker: Dr. Bob Pullen, a retired university lecturer who has spent many years lecturing about the brain to students in the fields of medicine, pharmacy and biology. He has also undertaken brain research in England and America where he uncovered interesting facts about the human brain and human behaviour, some of which he will include in this talk.
